Moral Genocide in West Papua

The moral genocide as described by Raphael Lemkin entails 'debasement of mental energy' from thinking about vital aspects of national development to that of 'base instinct' such as drink, eat, sex, sports and other pleasures. In West Papua, the Indonesian military operate prostitution businesses coincide with selling of alcohol, smoke and drugs. The Indonesian military smuggle women mostly from Java to towns and cities in Papua to serve as prostitutes in brothels and safe houses built by the military. They engage Papuan women to the business mostly tag them as 'ayam kampung' (village chicken).
